Call to Action (CTA)
The small text in a button or link that tells you what to do next. For example, request a project, book an appointment, or start an SEO check. A good CTA is specific, action-oriented, and shows the benefit. This turns passive readers into people who take the next step.
A call to action works when it states what will happen, not what the visitor should do. "Submit" describes a process, "Request a free analysis" describes a result. Two equally strong calls to action side by side weaken each other; it's better to have one that leads and one that quietly supports the action.
Regarding placement: On long pages, the button should appear several times, typically in the visible area at the very top, after the performance section, and at the end. The touch area must also be appropriate. A guideline is 44 by 44 pixels; anything smaller makes it difficult to tap reliably. A button 28 pixels high looks elegant on a screen but measurably reduces conversions on a phone.
