On-page optimization

SEO & GEO

All SEO measures that take place directly on your website. This includes a clean structure, meaningful internal linking, optimized headings and text, specific meta data, images with alt text, and technical improvements to loading speed and code. On-page optimization ensures that search engines understand your content and that users can easily navigate your site.

On-page SEO refers to everything you control on your own website: heading structure, text, internal links, images, loading time, and markup. It's the part of SEO that doesn't require external approval and therefore always comes first.

A sensible order when time is short: first the technical basics, i.e., indexability and loading time, then the heading structure with exactly one H1 per page, then the title and description, then internal linking. Experience shows that for a website that has never been optimized, 60 to 70 percent of the potential growth lies in these four steps, and none of them cost money for advertising.
