EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)

SEO & GEO

EEAT is an extension of the EAT concept in SEO that additionally considers the personal experience of the content creator. It helps search engines like Google evaluate the relevance and credibility of content, especially on topics that affect users' lives (YMYL).

The additional "E" stands for experience and is the most important addition of recent years. It refers to practical experience: Have you used the product yourself, handled the case yourself, or migrated the server yourself? That's precisely what distinguishes a text from one that a machine has assembled from ten other texts.

The difference is immediately apparent in the text. "A migration usually takes two to four hours" is common knowledge. "Migrating a 1,4 gigabyte database took us four hours, two of which were spent on the images alone" is experience. Your own figures, your own screenshots, and identified obstacles are what count here, not the length of the text.
