Analytics
Analytics refers to tools like Google Analytics that collect and analyze data on website traffic , user behavior, and conversions. It's indispensable in SEO and web design for making optimizations, such as reducing bounce rates or identifying keywords; hosting benefits from integration with server logs.
Numbers are only useful if you know what question they're supposed to answer. Three are enough to start with: Where do visitors come from, which pages do they read to the end, and where do they drop off? Everything else is mostly just working with charts and graphs.
For example: A performance page has 1.200 visits per month, an average visit duration of 22 seconds, and not a single inquiry. This isn't a visibility problem, but a content problem. A second page with only 180 visits, an average visit duration of 2:40 minutes, and nine inquiries is more valuable. Without measuring performance, you'd be investing in the wrong one.
